Actually, you made a good point, in that you caught me using a sloppy analogy. You're right, lots of people do like B movies (I didn't know they discussed them, but once I thought about it, there are books about Amazon Women From Mars and stuff like that). I should rather have said Z-grade movies that are unwatchable. Movies that aren't even kitsch enough to make it into the "Golden Turkey" books. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue though lol. But the real reason was, unfortunately I couldn't think of an actual title of such a movie, because the irony is, I couldn't *remember* them ! They are so unmemorable I couldn't even think of one for my lousy analogy.
But the point is the same: people only discuss movies that interest them on some level.
Actually though, it's cool that you're sensitive enough to language to have picked up on some sloppy usage of it.
