You're right. Ask does have a meaning of it's own. It means (for lack of a better explanation) 'twisted'. So you're not as twisted as u claim (by nature) as you're not looking forward to the clown raping film.
And as far as the film being a comedy, I don't think it is because of this whole intense raping thing although I believe it may have some very stuff in it (partly due to it being a View Askew flick and their other non-comedy being pretty funny in places and partly because I think I heard somewhere before that it's supposed to be funny...
