it's been ages since i publically tongued Vinnie's ass, so here goes...
i'm lucky enough to have listened to Vincent and Co's commentary on
the ABP DVD and i just wanted to mention how splendid it is.
admittedly, i am biased (as a friend of Vincent's), but i was blown
away by this hugely informative, entertaining, charming and incisive
commentary. for any would-be film-maker or anyone with an interest
in truly independent, low-budget film-making, hell for anyone
interested in films in general, this is one of the best commentaries
you'll ever hear.
of course the film itself will look better than ever, and stands up as a
fine piece of work, and Kevin and Scott's intros are funny, and the
deleted scenes are fascinating, but i think it's the commentary that
really makes this DVD something special.
