Thank you very much to O'Brian,Tyler and Scott for giving me a follow up. Im still kinda blowed away that you guys answered my letter, and i hope you can do that again with this one. Oh, im searching for the book Scott recomended for me about the screenplay writing, thank you Scott very much. And to think i was a geography major last year! I really want to write screenplays with me and my buddies so that we can showcase our talent to a wide audience. So here are some questions i was just curious about.
Will there be a music video for the soundtrack to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and if so, will Kevin Smith Direct it? Why was Jay and Silent Bob in Scream 3? Kevin Smith said that Clerks: the animated series might get another chance on another network or have their own movie, any news on that? Did you ever do a comic followup to Mallrats like you said you did on the special edition DVD?
And my main question: have you ever heard of a band named the Ataris? I ask you this because on their new CD, End is Forever, they do many references to you and your work. The band is from Santa Barbara, California and on a label called Kung Fu Records. In the linear notes, they have a picture of the Qik Stop (There is one in these in this town called Woodland, 15 minutes away from me). Moving on, on track 4 at the end, they have the audio where Silent Bob finally talks in Clerks to Dante. On the next track, they sing about Qik Stop, Clerks and New Jersey. On track 8, it has the part where Ben Affleck tells Matt Damon about the best part about his day. Well, maybe you might like to listen to them
Thanks again
Steve from California
