I have to register a real complaint about the _Dogma: Special
Edition_ DVD.

Don't get me wrong. I still retain all of my positive opinions about
Kevin, his associates, and the quality of their work.

But they dropped the ball on the Special Edition DVD. Two major
features, now, have been proven to be totally inoperable on DVD
players that don't have remote controls, i.e. DVD player software on
computers. Not only can the Easter eggs not be accessed, the
Follow the Buddy Christ feature does not appear to work, either. I'm
even more disappointed that inquiries both on this board and via
private mail to the View Askew e-mail address have gone
unanswered.

Am I calling anybody names? No. Am I saying I'll stop going to Kev's
films? Are you kidding? That'd punish me more than anyone else.
I'm just saying that I think that the ball was dropped here.
Considering how many people use DVD player software on their
computers nowadays, the fact that these flaws went undiscovered
prior to the disc's release, and the fact that no one at View Askew
seems to be concerned about this, is a great disappointment.

No, I won't stop being a View Askew customer. However, I can't say
I'll be as carefree with my purchasing here as I used to. I'm going to
be a hell of a lot more cautious.

Mike
