I'm sorry man. I don't think so. I've seen all Kevin's Movies and All KWOON movies and I think the humor is totally different. Also KWOON is a Kung fu comedy and Kevin's stuff is about buddies having funny ass conversations. Also I've met Kevin Smith once and shook his hand (JEALOUS?) And I know KWOON director Todd Roy personally and I have to say they smell nothing alike.
