I was hung over at my mom's house after a late night binge. She rented some movies, came back home with them. I was crashed on the couch, she asked if I wanted to watch a movie and I said no way. I didn't like the movies she usually rented and I felt like sleeping. She slapped one in called Chasing Amy, sounded stupid to me. So I'm laying half awake trying not to listen to the movie and as it goes, eventually I have to swallow my pride and show my mom that I actually am interested in a movie she has rented, sit up and pay attention. The dialog was so cool, I couldn't not watch it. I was captured by the movie, and it's still one of my favorites. I've since dove head first into the mayhem and own the four DVDs and am anxiously awaiting J&SBSB. The name I chose for the metal band I am in is also a tribute, it's called Dogmata (plural form of Dogma).
