Don't get me wrong, I love movie quotes. I quote movies all the time; in my e-mails, in my posts, verbally, whatever. But I don't always quote the same movie, over and over again, on a board that is SUPPOSED to be dedicated to the films of someone else completely. I realize that alot of the posts here are off-topic, and I'm as much of a contributor to that as anyone else. But a post that only contains text from a non-VA movie, on a VA board? What's the point in that?
Also (and this may piss people off, but so be it) I didn't even LIKE Half-Baked. I thought it was kinda stupid. I mean, yeah, it had some good bits in, but good bits do not a good movie make, necessarily.
Quoting movies, even non-VA movies, is all well and good, in moderation. Too much of anything'll make you sick.
