Now, my friend, I am happy to hear if the Vatican has changed its mind since releasing that little document last year stating that the only method to salvation is thru Christ; I'll try to find it if I can, but basically it was a doctrine reinforcing the idea that all this religious humanism, "we all worship the same God by different names" business is not acceptable in John Paul's eyes.
I'm totally cool if you're open to my religion, and many *individual* Catholics feel the same way you do. The practice of our religions is very similar although the philosophy is different. But if you're telling me that I can worship Pan and Isis and Mother Earth and dance naked under the full moon and incarnate nature spirits and that Catholic DOGMA does not condemn me to hell for this, that's news to me. I have no problem with it if it's true, but I severely doubt it.

: actually not true, my intelligent friend-- Catholicism is very tolerant of other religions, something about my religion of which i am very proud. :)
: there are lots of protestants who keep telling us WE'RE going to hell though.. i dont know why.. you'd figure we're so open to them, they'd be open to us.. oh well
