OK...so maybe not REALLY, but.....
Last year at Wizard Con, I had gotten up at 9:00 a.m. to meet some movie
making, comic writing fuck. I waited in line for, like, ever. After i had
gotten my signature (( and had the prerequisite slackjawed your-so-cool
moment)), I found my pregnant wife glowing, and clutching her camera. Seems
this long haired lanky guy named Jason...something, had sauntered by, going
for a smoke. She turned on her charm, and walked up, to say hi. The
inquisitive lethario asked where "the father" was, and she mentioned I was
in line to meet the aforementioned writer. He chuckled, and "since I wasn't
there", proceeded to claim my child as his own. A snapped pic later the
moment was frosen in time, and my wife (( jokingly )) claimes the child is
his.
My son, Jheryd (( ironically called "Jay" by almost EVERYONE, whether they
have heard the story or not )) is coming to the Con this year, and I hope
we can get another pic this year.
