I'm currently in the process of getting into talks with View-Askew Productions for two purposes: 1) To help sponsor my screenplay for Ninja Turtles and anchor down a studio, and 2) To get permission for a cameo (Scream 3-esque) by Jay & Silent Bob, played by Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, the hilarious two marijuana-dealing misfits seen in the comedy films Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and various comics published by Oni Press, most recently including the Jay & Silent Bob mini-series. I'm seeking an audience with Kevin Smith himself... and who knows where that will lead?"
I know where it will lead: nowhere. Kevin has said that "...Strike Back" will be the final on-screen appearance of Jay & Silent Bob. If he were to break that rule, why the hell would it be in some pathetic piece of wishful thinking/bottom-of-the-barrel fanfic? I read the portion of the script with Jay & Bob, and frankly, it was horrible. So whoever wrote that garbage (it was probably you) is "in the process of getting into talks with View-Askew Productions". Anybody who knows Kevin's e-mail address could be "in the process of getting into talks with View-Askew Productions". Here it is, 8 months later, and nothing's happened. Don't get your hopes up. As for Kevin Eastman's potential interest in the project, the scriptwriter probably caught him in a moment when he was trying to figure out how he gets to fuck Julie Strain.
: Ive read from a few sources that Jay and Silent Bob will make a cameo appearance in a new Ninja Turtles movie and that maybe View askew might be affiliated with the movie. If this is correct can i get a follow up?
