Gah. Feminism had a few decent goals back in the day, but they've been achieved. The 70 cents on the dollar line is crap, women earn less because they work fewer hours and take time out of the work force. When you account for that, women earn $1.02 for every dollar men earn. No one's forcing these women to have children...they WANT to. The men work harder and bring home money to support the family, because that's what makes sense to do. That's all the social theory I need.
Who's standing up for "feminism" these days? Steinem likes dating rich real estate moguls. Dworkin claims that marriage is rape ( I guess love isn't in her lexicon). Shere Hite came out with a nasty, man-hating, scientifically unfounded "report" a few years back. Not a distinguished bunch.
