I've been hooked ever since i rented Mallrats and watched it 20 times in one weekend. Then i rented the other 3 films and fell deeper in love. Can anyone blame me? To top it all off i'm also a major comic book fan. LOL, and since i'm posting on this mb, i guess im an internet geek too!
Well, being a geek doesn't bother me(even though it should;)), what bothers me is that more people my age(and my family;)) do not appreciate the greatness of Kevin Smith films(much less even heard of them or him)! Of course i'll drag them all to J&SBSB, and of course i've dragged my sister into watching Mallrats(she saw Clerks and hated it) for the sake of fully undeurserstanding the depth of James Van Der Beek's upcoming role, and of course i'll drag MYSELF to Scary Movie 2 with my friends(which i'd never see under normal circumstances) and point and stare at the J&SBSB trailer and tell them to watch it and love it in all its glory while they will go, "Look, it's James Van Der Beek!" and not understand its greatness- but it's all not enough. I feel like a 40 year old beer bellied fat guy trapped in a scrawny 13 year old's body. I need professional help.
