That's not true. I used to be a Libertarian. I got into it for more liberal reasons like Retarded Nun. I got into it because I think a big problem with our culture is the attitudes we have about sex and drugs.
Libertarians seemed to be the only ones concerned with how other people's religion is being forced upon us.
However. It should be noted. That the Libertarians seem to spend a lot more time sending out their sex, drugs, and guns message than their let's get rid of the minimum wage message. Why could that be????
It should also be noted that the whole reason the party was formed was because Nixon created the miniumum wage. So in a way. The party was formed by a bunch of guys that thought Nixon was too liberal.
I'm still glad that their are 2 liberatarians in Congress. I wouldn't want to live in a libertarian society. But I know those two libertarians will stick up for SOME of the things I believe in.
in some ways the libertarians are twice as liberal than Clinton. In other ways they're twice as conservative as Bush. Libertarians would allow gay marriages and allow any foriegner citizenship. So calling them Republicans is silly.
