...coz that guy is Kev's cousin in real life. They cut the ending not because Kev was fucking with his original artistic ending, but because he was a growing film maker (and writer I guess too) and I suspect had that ending to make the 'I'm not even supposed to be hear today' thing seem all the more ironic...except when u watch it, it seems really cold. The ending that stands is Dante and his girlfriend (or ex girlfriend) are on bad terms, his ex who was planning on maybe getting back together with is now in a mental institution and his best (??) friend and him just had a big arguement...except they patched it up and learned a few lessons as his friend was co-lead in the flick. This ending is ironic enough without Dante getting killed (and them fucking any chance of a sequel and making more money!).
