OK, I may be teaching View Askew to suck eggs, but...any book can be put on print-on-demand. Best service is Lightning Press which is a subsidiary of Ingram, the largest US book distributor. It's as easy as providing the layout file in Quark Xpres to Lightning Press. Cost to end user is somewhat higher than if you did a large print run...but this way you don't need to do a print run, they are printed as ordered.
