: I can recall back a few years ago picking up a small indie comic from some upstart studio called ironicly enough Bank Hold-Up studios. The book was called 37, it was alright, the script was clever and real, but I've never seen the use of a static two shot used so much in a comic. The book was a good read and I eagerly awaited number #2, but the damn thing never came out. Flash forward a few more months and Im back at the same comic outlet and what do I find but some two bit piece of shit called Bluntman and Chrnoic, normally Id pass such drival by, but I noticed that it was from the same cats who did 37, Holden McNeil and Banky Edwards, so I bought it expecting a good read and was metaphorically kicked in the nut sac. I stop buying the book, it eventually goes by the wayside and the horrible images of "Snootchie Bootchies" is long forgotten until I examine this summers coming attractions and see, yup, you know it "Bluntman and Chronic, the movie". What the fuck?! It's bad enough they are wasting good celluoid on this shit when they could be making Reindeer Games 2, but I mean Biggs and Van Der Beek as the leads, Edwards and O'Neil have no scrot what so ever, fucking sell outs, next thing you know they're going to try and make 37 a cartoon or something!
