It doesn't sound strange to me at all. If you don't like a movie that you didn't pay to see, what do you have to lose by walking out? Not a thing. In fact, they gain. They're not wasting money right out of the gate, and by walking out they're not wasting time, either.
And yet they stayed (not that I'm surprised). Congrats, Kevin!!
