I think at this stage of the game they KNOW that Askew fans are going to see this movie regardless and need to figure out how the rest of the world might react to it. Kevin and Mirimax know we are devoted little soldiers.
The ones that they are concerned about are the movie goers that will step in because Ben and Matt are on the movie poster (DOGMA baby... brilliant way to get people in seats... put Ben & Matt front and center). If a newbie can come in and get a kick out of the flick and spread some serious word of mouth on it then they know they've got a blockbuster on their hands (which is, of course, what I think all of us are hoping for). If newbies come in, just don't get it, and would have walked out were it not for the free seat then we know they just made a multi-million dollar movie for the people on this board and us alone. I don't think Harvey is that dumb though and he wouldn't have put that kind of money into a flick just for us.
