I thought it was a really good movie. Critics are slamming it because it is cheesey. It didn't feel cheesey to me, it felt classic. All in all, I really liked it. Amazing cinematography. Great acting on all parts. Plus, that Katie...damn I can't remember her last name...anyway, she played the love intrest. Elivia? Damn I'm bad with remembering character names. Anyway, she's extremely beautiful. I suggest you people go see this flick, you'll get your money's worth.
: I just got back from seeing Pearl Harbor. I thought that it was a great movie. It had all the key elements to a box office smash. The action sequences were amazing and very realistic. The romantic love triangle gave the movie a very intresting twist. I was not too into Alec Baldwin's performance. He seemed to overact. But that still does not change my feelings about the film overall. As for Ben,he was amazing as usual. Not to mention that he looked really good. The movie made me laugh, think and cry my eyes out. The fact that it was a little over 3 hours did not bother me at all. I was so involved in the plot that I never gave the length any thought whats so ever. For all of you out there that are skeptical about seeing this because of all the different reviews that you are hearing, do not listen to them. Judge it for yourself. I for one thought that it was well worth the $8.50. It has given me even more admiration for Ben as well as made me went to learn about the events that took place that fateful December 7, 1941.
