Comment on the Superman movie casting call

: I read the line up of who (I believe it was you guys) you had picked to play in the Superman movie. I haven't really had time to think about anyone else but Lex. I think that Arnold Vosloo would make a good Lex Luthor. He has the "damn aren't I rich and handsome" look about him. Just a thought, nothing more or less. : : ___This next paragraph does not effect/reflect my feelings towards the previous statement___ : In Batman and Robin (the movie), I hated that they got Arnold to play Mr. Freeze. I can never look at that villain again with out cringing knowing that a hack like Arnold played him. I call him a hack because I don't feel he was ment for the role, or any role that requires speaking. I thought that Julian Sands (Warlock, Warlock II) would've made a better Mr. Freeze than Arnold. Sands has the ability to play cold, plus he isn't greatly huge. Mr. Freeze isn't THAT big...that brings me to another point about Arnold as Freeze. What was up with that suit, it was terriable. I thought that Mr. Freeze's suit covered him completely to protect him from burning to death. But this suit that Arnold wore looked like it wasn't protecting him from anything. If you had ever played the Tekken games then you will know what I mean when I say, "He looked like Gunjack". I say the toy of Mr. Freeze when I worked at a toy store and I cringed at the thought that some kid is going to buy that monstrousity. I know these rantings might seem like rantings from a nit-picking fan boy, but they are not. I just got into comics two years ago, I hardly read Batman. I watched the cartoon a couple of times, and read some trade paperbacks. But when a "newby" like me even thinks that the errors are just too much to bear, then you have to know something is wrong. : ProtoClone...(click)
