----You might be confused.....Maybe due to the sometimes overzealous but certainly well meaning company releasing DRAWING FLIES....Who probably like to think of this as Kevins film and promote it as such......Now.....While Kevin played a MAJOR role in this film...so much so that without him the movie wouldn't of had the cast....The loot to shoot......Hell....Quite frankly......I'd still be a 2 bit hack journalist...instead of a two bit hack filmmaker......It has his "goodwill" up the wazoo...But...it doesn't really have his "touch"...so to speak.
He didn't write...nor direct...although he gave great advice...especially in editing......He pretty much dragged two guys outta the muck and gave them the priviledge to call themselves Director.
And people like Carmen,Mewes,Jason and Renee we're good enough to take time out of their lives to come play with us....and give the movie a little class.....and certainly they each and all gave great performances.
So.....With all this good fortune to be connected to such great people who already are mostly familiar with another man's stuff it's easy to understand the confusion.
So let me finally put it to rest.
