: There's also a scene that would have gone towards the end of the film where Barret goes to Meg's apartment looking for Ryan before he finds Ryan at home (leading into the climax). This also would have been Jason Lee's final appearance in the film had it been included in the final film, but it slowed the momentum of the climactic scenes and there were also some problems with the coverage we shot that would have made the editing awkward had we included it.

Slow endings. Chasing Amy. Or so it felt last time I watched it. Not that it was a bad thing, I fucking loved it, really! The last hour of the film is about 8 (roughly) 5-10 minutes scenes with a couple of quick cuts here and there. Fucking marvellous!
From where u see the year book slammed down and the fight between Holden and Banky (with appearence by Cohee), then Ice Hockey scenes, then a quick shot of Banky saying 'The Girl?', then Jay and Silent Bobs, then a quick shot of Holden on a swing, then the not taking of Bobs advice, then Suplee/Banky/Holden, and finally Holden/Alyssa/Virginia (con woman).

I can't say I've ever noticed that in a film before, I just did when I watched Chasing Amy last night. Maybe I should pay even more attention.

OK Vincent, if you're reading this, sorry. Here's the Q I mentioned in the heading...
Is everything cut from the film (proper stuff incl. snippets and not fucked up framing, etc) on the DVD?
I was just wondering because I just found out a few second (if that?) clip wasnt on the Chasing Amy Laser/DVD because it was not worthwile although I would have still loved to see it.

Just a thought..
Sorry to waste your time with all that stuff about Chasing Amy, just sharing something I noticed...
Glen;)
