- is that about 80% of the votes for A BETTER PLACE are in the top three slots (8, 9, or 10), and there is like NOTHING in between, then there are a few in the bottom three. But, even though the VAST majority of the voters cast in the top three slots, the magical way the IMDB genuii have come up with to "weight" their averages has resulted in this low score. For whatever reason, it seems they give greater credence to negative votes over positives? Doesn't make sense to me- if that was a test screening and 80% of the votes were in the top slots, the studio would be estatic.

The fact that nobody seems to be "in the middle" indicates that folks either love the film or hate it, and a LOT more love it than hate it. I'm guessing the "hate" comes from VA fans who were expecting something like Kevin's work, people who've decided I'm an asshole based on my postings here (Riders, fess up if any of you gave A BETTER PLACE a bad vote on the IMDB back during the Vincent-vs-the-Riders days), and I'm sure some people genuinely don't like the movie, which is to be expected. You can't please everybody, but one look at that chart shows that I pleased *MOST* of the folks who voted.

: I knew tht would get everyone's attention. www.IMDb.com has some serious f***sticks out there. They have "A Better Place" with a "weighted average" of 4.8???? 10 people gave this filma 1 out of 10 stars. Interesting they could waste time doing that but they couldn't flesh out the rest of the cast (like half aren't listed) This is a f***en tragedy. We know better. Go to www.imdb.com and vote for ABP.
