Someone else may have a more direct QuickTime answer, but let me give you some general tips:
1. Check your disk for errors. Nobody does this, and people wonder why Windows problems bite 'em in the ass.
2. Make sure your PC is up to date on its software. If you know what kind of video card and sound card you have, make sure their drivers are up to date. You might also want to go to www.windowsupdate.com to get any updates Microsoft has for your Internet Exploder, err, Explorer.
3. If you have anti-virus software running, disable it while doing heavy things like playing QuickTime. Most anti-virus thingies have an icon in your system tray, which you can right-click and tell it to exit or whatever.

Hope this helps.

: HELP!
: Trying to watch the trailer but my QT will lock up and freeze up my computer as it plays. I had version 4 but removed it and download the newest, number 5. However this problem still happens. I have to reboot and start my computer over again.
: Any idea how to fix this?
