Heh . . . well, I've never heard an American (or many other nationalities, that matter) use it in seriousness; I kind of assumed that it went along with that British Stereotype that I've heard so many Brits complain about. (My response to that: you think we Americans *like* being portrayed as stupid, braindead, obese, and . . . oh. Never mind.) I considered myself proved completely wrong.
*pause* But you guys don't say, "Pip, pip" anymore, do you? If you ever did? ;)
