Directv cut my service today since I owe on my bill... damn! Now I'll miss Degrassi Jr High at 3:30pm EST on TRIO. Once I pay this bill it should be all good though, I cut everything except Total Choice with HBO & Starz. $52 a month isn't bad. But I need the Boomerang Channel too and that's $5.00 more... Boomerang shows Superhero cartoons on the weekends... the old Fantastic Four 1967 TV Show and Superfriends. I'm gonna need to watch them to get me through my 250 page "Superman Lives" script. I also gotta read Kevin's script in more detail. I like the ideas presented, but it's just not epic enough in scope. I didn't like the dialogue either. Clark's last line to Lois... "I know (or was that, I will), babe." Sounds like something from the Lois & Clark TV show, which after the first year was terrible.
I'm confident my script will blow Mr. Smith's out of New Jersey. At least my ideas will. I gotta keep it in check, though, maybe I'll create a new Superhero, although Superman is what it's all about. Then again Mr. Smith was paid a nice sum to write two scripts within a certain producer's "guidelines." As long as a producer stands in the way of true art, Superman will remain lost in that Junkyard fighting Clark. Annette O'toole is beautiful though, isn't she? Wow, those Smallville scenes in Superman III are excellent besides the Newman's constant "camp humor." Lana Lang is the man for Clark. Superman is the man for Lois. But neither person exists, truly...
