Most of all, I would like to thank those who were kind enough to email me with words of kindness and support. I can see where some might take the column in question the wrong way, and I am grateful to those who are taking it the way it meant to be taken... an affectionate jab at two filmmakers I admire.
Kevin and Scott... who knew you guys would become the cultural icons you've become that night of the "Clerks" screening? You two had just come from the MPAA rating appeal and we're so jazzed just to not get the NC17. Of all the producers and directors we hosted for those IFP screenings at the NuWilshire, you two were among the best. I'm happy for all your successes and look forward to catching J&SB in a couple of months.
