I'd recommend the DVD version. The commentary is outstanding & compliments the film very well. Also includes cut scenes & other goodies. In answer to your question (which is ON topic since Kevin was co-executive producer): GWH holds not much in common with the skewniverse. It's a drama. Albeit a damn good drama. Absolutely worth your while.
