I remember you(Kevin) saying that the ideal length of a comedy is an hour and a half, and I agree, because usually the two hour and beyond time is reserved for dramas. But...considering what a denouement this film is; almost an anthology of sorts, I believe that the movie should be two hours or two and a half. The normal Askew flick is an hour and a half, with Dogma and Chasing Amy running a bit over that...but since this film features characters from the entire trilogy, spanning nearly five hours of movie time, I think this should be a bit longer than what we'd usually see. I'd love to see a whole half hour or so devoted to characters like Holden and Dante, who were both pretty much the cornerstones of the Askewniverse, with Jay, Bob, Banky, Randal, and Brodie right behind them in support. Add that to the myriad of cameos we'll be seeing, and we could have War & Peace on our hands. Hey, I'd love it...as far as I'm concerned, I'd love to see this movie be the length of the Godfather...but that won't nearly be after the editing, when a lot of film will hit the cutting-room floor. Anyway, these are just my thoughts...take with a grain of salt. My quasi-rant is done...that is all.
