Batman producer Jon Peters has lost his lucrative production deal at Warner Bros. The movie studio gave the movie-maker the push on March 6th after he demanded a non-exclusive deal, which would have allowed him to work with other studios as well. Peters launched his career at Warner's 25 years ago when he famously leveraged his post as a top hairstylist and boyfriend of Barbra Streisand, to earn his first producing credit on the 1976 remake of A Star Is Born, in which Streisand starred. He later joined forces with Peter Guber to create Guber-Peters Entertainment which produced hits including An American Werewolf In London and The Witches Of Eastwick for Warner Bros. Peters is currently serving as a producer on Ali, the Will Smith movie being shot by Columbia Pictures, but will continue developing projects for Warners.

Sorry. I just thought that was fucking hilarious.
