...as a musical recommendation. Have you seen The Commitments? Well, if you have, the guy who played Outspan (Glen Hansard) has his own band here in Ireland called the Frames. They released their 4th album today called For the Birds.
They play in the States occasionly, usually with Songs:Ohia. And if you like Jeff Buckley, Glen and he were great friends before his death.
Describing them I would say that they are a folkier version of Radiohead, but quite similar. Simply put, if you liked Street Spirit by Radiohead, you'll like the Frames.
If anything I said appeals to you at all, you should maybe download an mp3 when you can....
