It wasn't great (I'm glad it got cancelled, just not so quickly), but most fans convince themselves that it was the next Simpsons or Sopranos. Or in the case of Mallrats, they convince themselves it's the next M or Ben Hur and say that anyone who disagrees is a fucking asshole.
