But some guy sang the songs (who?), and Cameron Crowe wrote Fever Dog, so maybe he wrote some more. I don't know. I thought on the "Making of" thing on the DVD he mentioned writing Stillwater "songs" but I'm probably misremembering.
: : Okay, I'm on Napter, looking for some stillwater, and I find all these Stillwater songs, but then I look, and the Almost Famous soundtrack only has two Stillwater songs on it. These other songs sound like Stillwater (as far as I can tell) so I don't think its just misnamed songs. Looking at Cdnow.com, I don't see any Stillwater besides the AF sountrack. Looking online I don't find no info.
: : A little help? My guess, either these are just names off some band who had an album called Stillwater, and they just sound similar. Or they released a bunch of Stillwater songs online somewhere. I got no clue.
