i don't know that jay & silent bob will be retiring any time soon. affleck was quoted as saying "'If you think this is the last time you're gonna see Jay and Silent Bob in a Kevin Smith movie (JASBSB), you're high on crack." this doesn't necessarily dismiss your theory, however. & it certainly doesn't mean that affleck's got his facts straight. it's just something i read that i thought was fairly interesting.
