So I was on my way home from a little gambling in Atlantic City this weekend, and thought I would try and cheer myself up from my big loss by stopping off at the stash on the way home. Now I had read earlier this week that NEXT weekend it would closed due to Kevin and crew returning home and filming there, but what I found at the store was really distressing.
The place was close to bare! Nothing on the walls, the case with all the dogma stuff (stills, mooby items, etc) was empty, and the Chasing Amy mockups gone. Even Bob's cowl and coat from Mallrats was gone, just a black t-shirt on a manequin remained in its place. The store was rearrange a bit too. It was a bit of a let down for my friend from out of state who had never been before.
Anyone know what the deal is? Is it because everything has to be removed for filming due to the various studios owning rights? Is it just that the store is getting a makeover for the film?
