: (or anyone else who wants to maybe e-mail me because this is slightly off-topic)

: Have any of you read A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius? If not, you should because it is a great, great book, but I was wondering if any of you, being in the biz, had any opinions about it being made into a film. I heard of bidding wars a while back (and a certain Ben and Matt were mentioned), and I think I remember Dave Eggers resisting to sell the rights. I, personally, think this is one of those books, much like Catcher in the Rye, which should never, ever, ever be made into a film. I was wondering if anyone else shares this view.

: Some of the dialogues in the book, especially those with the narrator/author's brother seem very much in the vein of humor that those who like Kevin Smith movies would enjoy. It is one of the best books I've ever read (and I'm an English major, so I reads lots of books). You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hurl.

: XOXO--Courtney
