A retort is a witty or caustic *counterargument*. What, is he going to dispute the fact that you call him funny and witty?
Although, I must admit, the sentence "Where is is Pupppet!!!!!" is a mindfuck of zen koan proportions. It's a question, it's an exclaimation, it's a use of the verb "to be" that I have not seen outside of Wallace Stevens. (Let be be finale of seem).
And technically, isn't Lynch a "Muppet man?"
