William Hannah, one half of Hannah-Barbera, the creators of FLINTSTONES, JETSONS, SCOOBY-DOO, SPEED BUGGY and JABBERJAW yabba dabba died today.

According to a statement released by his daughter, Hannah's death was a blatant, poorly executed rip-off of other, more talented people's deaths. The funeral will be rushed with no thought put into it and the coffin will be poorly constructed in a korean sweatshop.

Upon hearing the news, Barbera says "how come we never did a show about four kids and a crime solving, talking dead cartoonist? That woulda worked. No, no wait, maybe The Dead Family, you know, kinda like the Honeymooners but the entire family would be dead like my partner. They could have a ghost dog and, I don't know, a robot maid". Five minutes later, Hannah-Barbera proudly announced their new show THE DEAD FAMILY. Ten minutes later, 25 half hour scripts were handed in. The show premieres in April on the Cartoon Network.
