Having no vested interest in either sides of the arguement, let me just say that the matter is resolved. Let it go. On the other hand, if people keep attacking Lynch, he's going to keep responding. And responding quite well, actually. Humor wins over self-serving whining anyday. Is there anything wrong with forming a fixation on an object because it reminds you of someone who has passed away? Not really. Is it unfair of you to think that other people should respect your 'bond' with that object? A little. People have their own shit to worry about. Lynch had his problems... Is it unreasonable to think that something as insignificant as a watch (to him anyway) should weigh heavily on his mind? Yeah. Where should that rank? Family problems, legal stuff, a watch, work, rent.... Or should it be at the top? Did you let work and family go by the wayside because you didn't have the watch? Probably not. It does look like you did your best to take care of business and get it back. But, you also went to a public forum to shame Lynch. In a completely Anonymous forum like this (My name is Grimace... really), what effect where you hopeing for? At most, you get a discussion like the one that's been going on. You very well could have posted before he mailed it out, and recieved a watch covered in poo. Would you post again? Probably. And little bandwagon jumpers like me would respond in kind that Lynch kicks butt, and you deserve it. But, what do I know?
