I am sick of everyone being pissy about AF not getting many noms. Do you guys even grasp how the process works? If any of you are over the age of 12 and have been watching the Oscars for more than 2 years then you know that it's all about marketing. Look at Titanic beating out LA Confidential. LAC was BY FAR a better movie but Titanic campaigned so hard they swept everything. (Titanic beat Good Will Hunting too)Or Forrest Chump beating Pulp Fiction AND Shawshank Redemtion. Or Dances with Wolves beating GoodFellas. Do you see a pattern here? The Oscars are not fair and haven't been for a long time. They have thier moments here and there but overall its bullshit. Proof and point is the fact that Tom Hanks is up for Best Actor and that Russell Crowe will probably beat out Harris.
The Oscars suck...this is nothing new. So shut the fuck up and leave the issue alone.

: : I was watching E-Entertainment Television last night and they were doing a show about Kate Hudson. They showed some clips from Almost Famous, and then they should part of interview with Jason Lee, talking about the concert scenes. Did anyone else see it? Does anyone know if Jason Lee is going to be at the Oscars? I hope so, it would be cool if he was presenting something. I do know that Ben Affleck will be there and he will be presenting an Oscar.
