: You're wrong. The game in the deleted scenes is on Genesis, and it's called NHL '94, and is by EA. But Kevin and Sega decided they would do this cross-promotion, where Sega would show the Mallrats trailer on tour stops they were doing, and Sega's hockey game would be in the movie. But Sega decided to drop out of the deal at the last moment, so Kevin was stuck with Sega's game in the movie. So it is actually a Saturn game, because the only hockey game Sega developed then was for Saturn, and it was called NHL All-Star Hockey.
