This question has been asked of Kevin before(its not in the summaries, so its not your fault for not finding it). He has said more or less that he never plans on writing novels or a book. He said "i make movies". but then again, he also makes comic books. so who knows. i think it would be a good venture for him, and ya never know, he could always change his mind.
