Hello,
My name is Abdul H. Rashid. I am an aspiring creator of comic book graphic
novels, and visual storytelling projects. Currently I live in the Mid-West
state of Ohio and I'm trying to catch the eye of project producers and
established film makers willing to take a chance with a new upstart ready to put in the effort and commitment to the development of a strong product.
I'm writing to your site particularly because I am a BIG fan of the work
that Kevin Smith has developed and a supporter of the independent film
community. I am also seeking advise from someone who has already made a mark in this entertainment arena. I guess I'm wondering what avenue I might take in getting my work looked at by someone in the industry already willing to take a chance with an unknown.
I'm talented in my visual and written works (which is something you probably hear all the time), but I have little knowledge of those who would give me five
minutes of their time to take a peek at what I can do. Five minutes is all I need to catch the interest...if not less time.
Anyway, whatever input you might be able to give me to put me in the right direction would be greatly appreciate.
I don't want to take up your time with a long "plea"
letter...just a small request for assistance, if you have the time.
