When Loki was the Angel of Death he used a fiery sword. Do you think any power that he had as the Angel of Death (like raining sulfer), God would let him keep?

That was Loki's job. He carried out God's orders as God saw fit. And by killing the Mooby board members then he can show God that he still has what it takes to be the Angel of Death.
