: Bill Cosby's Fat Albert is going to be making his way to the big screen in a live-action feature film.
: According to the trades, the 20th Century Fox film will combine elements of the Filmation animated TV series as well as Cosby's original stories. Cosby is currently at work writing the film's script with Charles Kipps, which is expected to be finished in the next two to three weeks. There's no word yet on if Cosby himself will appear in the film.
: Fox is hoping to launch a new franchise with the film which is likely to be a tentpole release.
: Cosby and his wife Camille will executive produce the project. John Davis will produce.
