I was in Olympia, at school, when it happened. Olympia's where the epicenter was.
Lucky me!
It was pretty wild. There was a loud boom, and our class, which was fighting loudly at the time, got really quiet. Then it started rolling and we jumped under the desk. It went on for a long while, long enough that we had time to carry on a conversation.
The school's closed for the rest of the day, so I made my way home. I'm still a bit shaken. It was scary, the look on everyone's face before we knew what was happening. The worst was the sounds. Bizzare sounds I'd never heard before.
Very trippy. But so far it looks like everyone I know is ok.
