Let me start off by saying my spelling sucks balls. 2ndly your shit (movies etc.) is AWSOME!!! That being said let me give you the lowdown on what it is I do, and what I am trying to become. To start, my name is Miguel, and no im not Mexican...Im Italian, and I live in the small county of Marin in the Bay Area. Now if you have no clue where it is let me tell you that it is on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. The side you never see in the pictures. Now dont get me wrong marin is a nice area, but lately more and more Hollywood stars have decided to move in. Now some dig the hell out it and others hate it, but me? I could give a shit. I have met quiet a few actors in the 20 years I have been alive and to be frank, I don't see what all the fuss is about when it comes to meeting and greeting the actor. It's just thier job. Did you know that they have even started tours of the local hollywood actors homes? No shitin'.
Arghhh...it bugs me at times, because big time actors and directors get more credit than wrighters do. Shit you of all people know the drill. I think its fucked up what happend with the Superman project. I read your script and I thought it was awsome how close to the comic you keeped it, while recaping on a few of the Lois an Clark episodes.(via the part when you have Lois talk about him saving the space shutle from the first season while on top of Mt. Rushmore) Im a huge Superman fan. I think you should strait walk into WB with Jay, cap all those fools and make the damn movie yourself. But thats just me. Ok now on to the subject.
Now for the past few years I my self have tryed the whole acting bit, auditoning for movies such as Rushmore, X-Men and even Episode 2 but have not made it. And while it still intrests me I have come to realize I have a talent for radio. Mind you I have done lots of extra work, Radio just suits me better. I have my own very, very local radio show. What I mean by very very is that it is a Radio station at a high school. It's an R.O.P. class. Its a real station but it doesnt have a huge listining signal. Last I checked it was only a 10 mile radious. Not big at all, but a start. I have about 5 dossin demo tapes of myself that I send off to other BIG stations in hopes that I will get a break one day.
All in all my shows rock. I am the most listend DJ the station has and am only DJ to be sponcerd by Big web sites. IGN.com and Film Force.com. IGN has sent me products to try out and review for them which is cool. I have even had one "Star" Robin Williams on my show...Via the phone, but it wasn't that hard to get him on seeing is how he lives in Marin and I met him at a film fest when I went to review a movie for my show. He happend to sit down next to me during the screening, and before I knew it we started talking about how both him and I had done stand-up in same places, and that I do voices and I guess how I go too the same collage he went to and how the same damn drama teacher is still there.
Anyway plain and simple, if your ever in the bay area, and want to do a small time show, (why you would is beond me, you just strike me as the type that hasn't forgoten the litte people) your more than welcome to be a guest. Now be clear on this I am not asking you do come down here and do this, just informing you that if you happen to be around...you know...(with a big grin) it would help my carrier...A lot.(smiling)
Finaly, so you have to respond, I picked up a copy of Clerks uncut 2 disc DVD, and while I have not finished it all, what is so UNCUT about the 2nd disc? Just wondering. Sorry if I went on too long. If your intrested I can send demo tapes to your Agency or place of work, let me know.
