But even the general public realizes that they're related, due to the inclusion of Jay and Silent Bob in all of the movies. They may not think to themselves, "let's go see the new View Askew production" or even "let's go check out Kevin Smith's new movie", but they'll see Jay and Silent Bob in the previews and they'll connect them. I don't think it's an unfair word to apply here.
