I was just checking out film news on filmforce.net and I came across an article. Check the link below.
Apparently Universal and Imagine paid SEVEN FIGURES to Mandel along with two others to re-write CAT IN THE HAT for Tim Allen to star. Wow, I'm not looking forward to that one, but it's still good to see that Mandel is back at work, especially since the Clerks Cartoon commentary indicated a down period for him.
SEVEN FIGURES to write something that probably shouldn't be made. Sweet Deal, Mandel.
